The team of radiologists and technologists at the Vancouver Breast Centre are highly experienced specialists in breast diagnostic radiology.
Our Radiologists
Radiologists are physicians who specialize in interpreting x-ray, ultrasound and other medical images.
Our senior radiologists at the Vancouver Breast Centre are Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
This means they have achieved the highest standard of specialty training in their profession.
Their ongoing participation as lecturers and attendees at international conferences, as well as their contributions to the scientific literature, keeps them at the forefront of the latest breast imaging techniques and discoveries.

Technologists are highly trained in taking the images needed to make diagnoses. Vancouver Breast Centre technologists have an average of 10 years experience and specialize in mammography.
They make every effort to ensure that images are obtained with the greatest care and comfort. Special attention is given to minimizing the amount of radiation used for the mammograms.
Our technologists frequently attend courses to stay on the leading edge of the latest developments and each is registered with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiology technologists.
